The Blohm & Voss BV 141 was a World War II German tactical reconnaissance aircraft. It is notable for its uncommon structural asymmetry. Although the Blohm & Voss BV 141 performed well, it was never ordered into full scale production, for reasons that included the unavailability of the preferred engine and competition from another tactical reconnaissance aircraft, the Focke-Wulf Fw 189.

Just released by HobbyBoss we have a new wonderful kit of this obscure suject in 1/48 scale.

Most noticeable is the "gondola" clear part of the canopy, that has been molded in a single clear piece of excellent quality, avoiding to the modeler to deal with a multi-part canopy and the relative issues.

Inside the box you will find 7 sprues (4 each individually packaged are for the clear parts) for over 100 parts, resulting in a model of 284.5mm lenght and 365 mm wingspan.
