New Tamiya Masking Tape for Curves 2mm, 3mm, 5mm

A new masking tape from Tamiya, specially designed for curves: sounds a very interesting product!

In many years of modeling, I collected many masking tapes from many different brands (usually of small sizes, because Tamiya smallest one was still too big for some works). But no way, each time there has always been a clear winner: the Tamiya one.

It offered a unique combination of stickiness ead easy to removed. Contrary to other brands, it stick and stay there for very long time (i would say forever), avoiding any leack of paint underneath just becase you masked today and painted two days later. And when removed, it don't peel out the paint.

So i was very happy reading that Tamiya is now offering some masking tapes that:

1) are of smaller size (2mm, 3mm and 5 mm)

2) are specially designed to follow curves.

This last features makes it perfect, for example, to maske that "waving" pattern of some background color on the German mottling camo, or on the WWII US Navy aircraft.

The reference numbers for this products are: Item Nos.: 87177, 87178 and 87179

Not yet available on my local store, but i have already seen it on Amazon and Ebay.
