Hawker Tempest, 1/72 by Academy

As wikipedia writes, "the Hawker Tempest was a British fighter aircraft primarily used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the Second World War. The Tempest was an improved derivative of the Hawker Typhoon, and one of the most powerful fighter aircraft used during the war."

Academy offers a full range of airplanes models in 1/72 scale, easy to assemble, usualy with a good fit, and at reasonable prices.
This Hawker Tempest is no excpetion.
It was painted with Humbrol enamel colors, using a Iwata Eclipse airbrush. for masking the colors, bluetack was used.
The small base is made using a small CD case, painted and dovered with flocks of grass.
