Hobbyboss is a dynamic company releasing many new kits of good quality at very affordable prices.

This new Wildcat is not exception. The box has a nice boxart, with a colorful Wildcat scheme presented.  No flash is present on the plastic.

In the box you find:

74 x pale grey styrene parts on four sprues
7 x clear parts on two sprues
Decals for 2 x colour schemes

The decals sheet looks impressive, with good register, but the decals performs not so well.

The kit fits with no problem: only a minimum amount of filler is required.
The only part that i found a little tricky, with the instruction wrong or vague, is the assembling of the landing gear.

Canopies are of average qualities: not too tick but not too thin. No option is provided for open canopy (if you try to retract the part on the back, it will not just fit on the fuselage.

The cockpit is good straight from the box, with a full range of button, leverages, boxes etc. to look quiet busy.

Price is actractive too: you can find it on Ebay for about 17 euros.
