The Fairey Fulmar was a British carrier-borne fighter aircraft that served with the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) during the Second World War. A total of 600 were built by Fairey Aviation at its Stockport factory between January 1940 and December 1942.
One of the numerous variant of this airplane was the trainer one, and it is depicted in the Classic Airframe kit in 1/72 scale.
This is a short run kit, with multimedia parts. As all othe short run kits, it requires special cares during the building: repeated dry-fitting test are not only suggested, but necessary, to aquire the proper fit with no problems.
Details are nice and subtle, and the various resin casted parts, together with the PE parts, allow to build a nice and busy cockpt.
Color used: Vallejo Aircolor.
